Impressions of our teen book
• Book is nice, and content is good (will be better when fully edited)
• Our teen book is not the best, teenagers are unlikely to buy it
• We should focus our effort more on the adult book- we do not believe ourselves in the teen book
• If we were to produce the teen book, we should do this after we have raised money through sales of the adult book
SM began by introducing the agenda and the group started reviewing the book. Cosmetic changes were suggested and have been noted to be passed onto Kerim. JC and MO were given the task of writing the blurb for the the adult and teen books respectively. The group then went on to view the website. Content additions were suggested to MT, including a “Meet the Team” page.
Discussion then moved onto the printing of the book. MT came out with quotes of around £270 for 500 copies of a 12 page book. More correspondence with the company is required. ZR then introduced shares to the business; everyone received 30 shares, each costing 50p each. The group then decided to sell shares to the wider public.
